RAPTURING GRACE AND RESURRECTION
Questions Nos. 499 to 502
CHAPTER TWELVE
Question # 499: "I have been
reading Book 11 about Seven Seals and I have some questions on that; please send
me a reply for them. I want to know (a) What is rapturing grace? (b) What is
rapturing faith? (c) What is rapturing power?"
E.O.D.H. Answer: "But if the
Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up
Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that
dwelleth in you." (Romans 8:11).
Those three works of grace is associated together and were fully manifested
in the life of Jesus Christ.
Rapturing grace is the grace that was given to the Lord Jesus for the
translation of His body and resurrection. It is a revelation. Thus the Prophet
said on the book "The Rapture", that 'the rapture is a revelation'; that
revelation is hidden in the Seven Thunders.
Quote W.M.B.: 128-2 {75}"I believe that through those
seven thunders will be revealed in the last days in order to get the
Bride together for rapturing faith; because what we got right now, we
wouldn't be able to do it. There's something we've got to step farther; we
can't have enough faith for Divine healing hardly. We've got to have enough
faith to be changed in a moment and be swept up out of this earth." (The first
Seals page 63-0318).
Rapturing faith: Is the faith of Jesus Christ. It's a revelation, hidden
under the Seven Thunders.
Rapturing power: Is the final quickening of the Bride of Christ, by the
final outpouring of the Holy Ghost. See "Resume Of The Church Ages', pages
376-380; it is connected with the Seven Thunders. Romans 8 says that the same
Spirit that raised Christ will quicken our mortal bodies. He had the fullness of
the Godhead dwelling in Him.
Question # 500: "The prophet
preached that the rapture will take place at six to nine A.M. But the Bible also
said that the hour and the time, no one knows. So I am requesting from you if
you can help me know if whether it is true or not?
E.O.D.H. Answer: Yes my brother,
false thunders preachers have many false doctrines and misrepresentations of
Brother Branham's message. They also over emphasize certain statements of
Brother Branham and make them major controversial doctrines, to appear very
knowledgeable in the message.
The prophet did casually preach and make that statement, but never took it
as a subject or laid much emphasis upon it. He spoke it once and the basis for
him saying such, knowing that the bible said that no man knoweth the day nor
hour, is simply that between 6 and 9 in the morning does not specify a
particular hour. So the scripture is not broken.
The second coming of the Lord will be between 6 and 9 in the morning. The
Lord will come for the rapture between 6 and 9 one morning.
Quote W.M.B.: "Now, in the Bible times--talking about
the watches--and nights were not divided into hours in the Bible time. (Now,
listen closely, 'cause I'll hurry now cause they want the room.) No, the Bible
was not divided--or the night was not divided in hours in the Bible time; it
was divided in watches. There was three watches. Now, the first watch started
at--from nine until twelve; the second watch started from twelve to three, and
the third watch of the night was counted from three to six. Now, we got three,
three three's, which is a nine, imperfect number. Then we come back to the
seven for the rapture, which will take place I believe between six and seven
o'clock--or six and nine o'clock some morning. For the trumpet of the Lord
shall sound..." (The Rapture 65-1204 126).
I guess you are all settled about the thunders. There is nothing to all
these thunders cults and isms around the world. Continue to read E.O.D.H. books.
You will realize that it has only produced mental insanity, death and
destruction of the Holiness message of the prophet. Keep clear from such false
prophets and false thunders, stay in the message of Brother Branham and study
the E.O.D.H. books and the Lord will see you through.
Question # 501: "How many
resurrections does the Bible teach about and which people are included in them?
Scriptures and quotes will be very much appreciated."
E.O.D.H. Answer: There are five
Scriptural Resurrections:
First - Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Lord Jesus Christ was the only prophet that returned from the dead to
fulfil His ministry and yet that was accomplished by His Spirit anointing
the Church and His messengers throughout the Seven Church Ages because He was
the sinless Son of God, born by the immaculate conception and it was prophesied
of Him that His Soul should not be left in hell nor His body see corruption.
Thus he said, "I have power to lay down my life and power to take it up
again."
"For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou
suffer thine Holy One to see corruption."(Psalms 16:10).-
"But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall
receive me. Selah." (Psalms 49:15).-
"Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I
might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I
have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment
have I received of my Father." (John 10:17-18).
There is no Scripture to indicate that there is any promise made about any
other prophet to come back from the dead to preach the Gospel or fulfil any
ministry, whatsoever.
Second - The Resurrection Of The Old Testament
Saints
"Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led
captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it
but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that
descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he
might fill all things.)" (Ephesians 4: 8-10).
"And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the
bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were
opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the
graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto
many." (Matthew 27:51-53).
Third - The Bride Of Jesus Christ - The First
Resurrection
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first." (1Thessalonians 4:16).
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall
be changed." (1Corinthians 15:52).-
"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such
the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of
Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation
20:6).
Fourth - The Two Witnesses to the Jews. (Revelation 11:
7-12)
Fifth - Second Resurrection of Just and Unjust.
"And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall
awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."
(Daniel 12: 2).
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were
opened and another book was opened which is the book of life: and the dead
were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to
their works." (Revelation 20:12).
Question # 502: "Who are the
goats and the sheep; when and where will they be saying, "I was hungry and you
fed me"?
E.O.D.H. Answer: : This happens
at the White Throne Judgment. Matthew 25:31-46 gives a good account. The 'sheep'
are those who don't expect life but are given life at the White Throne Judgment
for the favors they did to the Christians.
Quote W.M.B.: "In the great White Throne judgment
there will be a separation of people. The Book of Life will be opened and
another book will be opened. Matthew 25:31-46." (Church Age Book Chapter 7 -
The Sardisean Church Age P:82).
Quote: "To further clarify, notice specifically the
words of Matthew 25:31-46. It does not say that a shepherd is literally
separating sheep from goats, but it is AS a shepherd dividing sheep from
goats. These are not sheep in this particular area of time (White Throne
Judgment). The sheep are in His fold, they heard His voice (Word) and they
followed Him. THEY ALREADY HAVE ETERNAL LIFE AND CANNOT COME INTO THE
JUDGMENT. But these do NOT have eternal life, and they are in the judgment.
They are allowed to GO INTO eternal life. But upon what grounds do they
enter into life eternal? Certainly not upon the fact that they already have
His life as does the bride, but they receive it because they were kind to
His brethren. They are not His brethren: that would make them joint-heirs
with Jesus. They are NOT heirs to anything but life. They share no throne,
etc. with Him. THEIR NAMES MUST HAVE BEEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE AND NOT REMOVED.
Now because of their love of the people of God they are recognized and saved.
No doubt these served and helped the children of God. Perhaps like Nicodemus
and Gamaliel they stood for the children in a time of trouble." (Church Age
Book Chapter 7 - The Sardisean Church Age P: 86).
