WE STAGGER NOT AT THE PROMISE OF GOD

CHAPTER SIX

We feel the mighty presence of the Lord and it is hard to speak when He comes in such power of His anointing.  When we have the presence of the Lord in our midst, we know that there is liberty; we know that people have been correcting their lives, making themselves ready for this meeting; we know that people are believing God’s Promise, looking with anticipation for the soon Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  So it gives me confidence.  It helps me to understand that the people of God are pressing the battle towards the mark of the high calling in Christ.  We are here to encourage your hearts and we trust that we can be a blessing in some way by preaching the Word of God unto you and by our fellowship.

We bring greetings from the Caribbean and South America.  All from Bethel and affiliated churches, each one of the ministers send their love to you.  Those from Grenada and St.Vincent send their love to you.  They are contending for the same Promise.  Over in Guyana, they have also sent their love and their greetings to you here in Connecticut.  We have an extension which we never had for many years and that is greetings to you from India, and from Africa and from the Philippines and from Europe. All are pressing to the Mark of the High Calling and sharing the same vision that we shared for many years. They are expecting another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit; they are expecting another revival and the seven thunders to be broken to the public.

SERVANTS WHO PROCLAIM GOD’S OUTPOURING

I want to highly compliment Pastor Kenneth McGahee for the work that he has done here in the congregation amongst the people.  I believe he has done very well. Yes, your money is well spent, I want to assure you that.  This man is not after the tithes and the offerings, nor are any one of the ministers. Brother Gerald Renner, as his assistant here, and the other ministers are after your souls. I believe that if Brother William Branham and former pastors Brother Robert Lambert, Brother George Parylla and Brother Carlton McGahee could peek over the banister this morning and see our gathering and the efforts that we have put behind the Promise of God and the revelation that they left behind, I believe that they would rejoice greatly.

We want to drift with the Spirit.  I have on my mind a prayer line.  We are more than happy, more than thankful, more than grateful to the Lord for each one of you and to be gathered together to worship and to praise the Lord and to talk about his wonderful grace.  May the Lord bless your hearts.

Romans 4:16-21: <Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.>

My Lord!  A man one hundred years of age, his body dead and Sarah’s womb dead, he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but every day and every night he gave glory to God and his faith became stronger every day.

WE ALSO HAVE A PROMISE – WE STAGGER NOT

I love this story, even the natural report that Brother Paul is giving here concerning Abraham.

<He staggered not at the promise of God…but was strong in faith giving glory God; And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, he was able also to perform.>

We also have a Promise, and we are also the seed of Abraham.  I believe that we will have that kind of faith to believe for all the promises of God, but there is a major Promise that was promised to us and that is “another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit”.  By that Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, it will bring to pass all the other promises that were promised to us in the Bible and by the message of the hour.

The title of my message is “We Stagger Not at the Promise of God”.  When it is fulfilled, this is that Promise that will bring to pass all other promises.  It was written that Abraham <staggered not at the promise of God.> We are going to examine others in our age who staggered not at the Promise of God.

I could have entitled this message “Branham Staggered not at the Promise of God.”  Yes, but we wanted to be included, so we say “We Stagger Not At The Promise of God”.  That includes Brother Branham; that includes Abraham; that includes Brother George, and Brother McGahee; and above all, that includes Brother Lambert, your pastor, who sealed his testimony with his blood.  So, Lambert staggered not at the Promise of God, but was strong in faith giving glory to God and he was fully persuaded that God was able to perform what He promised.  We are fully persuaded that God is able to perform what He has promised because in the Scripture, the Bible said,

II Peter 3:9  <The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.>

GOD’S GRACE HOLDS BACK PROMISED OUTPOURING

Always bear in mind when the enemy wants to depress you, suppress you and bring doubts and fear into your minds concerning the time that we are waiting for this Promise, (we have already passed the time that Abraham waited) just like Brother Peter said, the longsuffering of the Lord, that while the Lord keeps back this Promise from us, He has his mind on somebody, somewhere, to bring them to repentance.  If He sends this Promise too quickly, then He takes away that opportunity from that person to repent and to be saved.  Always remember that the Lord is looking down and sees the whole world.  (Can you imagine that?)  He sees every animal, every bird, every fish in the sea, every human being.  He listens to every one of our thoughts.  He knows better than me and He knows better than you.  If, in His great wisdom, He wants to hold back the Promise until that certain child is born because that child is elected, then we say, “Lord, have your way.”

Think, Brethren, that right in our midst we have our children at a certain age who have no revelation.  They are not yet born again.  If that Promise is to come today and the rapture takes place, without a divine revelation, they will go through the tribulation.  Which would you prefer?  I would prefer to wait a little more on the Promise of God until the Will of the Lord is fulfilled in those children’s lives.  It would be a horrible thing to know that you are gone in the rapture and your little one out here is left to go through the tribulation.  Give that a little thought sometime and maybe we can speak a little bit about it.

Beloved, I was thinking on some of those things and I see the grace of God and the love of God.  I see the longsuffering of the Lord, His patience extended for years.  Do you know that back there thirty years ago, if the Lord had not longsuffering, some of you would not be seated here today?  But it is the longsuffering of the Lord that caused you to come and hear the Word of God and understand, and causes your children to grow up today where they, themselves, have children.  So look around and see the longsuffering of the Lord right in our midst.  Then think of the longsuffering of the Lord that is still waiting.  As the Bible said,

I Peter 3:20: <…when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah…>

God waited one hundred and twenty years, just hoping that somebody will repent.  The Lord is holding back this Promise for many reasons, and I believe all His reasons are good.  They are good towards humanity.  Some child that is just five years old, some child that is just seven years old, some old man that is on a dying bed, whom someone could lead to the Lord. Think on those things and you will understand the longsuffering of the Lord and why this Promise has not yet come to us.

But yet we stagger not at the Promise of God but we are strong in faith.  Some of you were young, now you are old.  Some of you were just children, now you are adults.  Yes, it is the grace of the Lord.  Some of you had not yet come in, when the man of God was here, but now you are here; you understand.  So we have to thank God for that, and we have to understand the time of waiting in that respect.

We stagger not at the Promise of God through unbelief.  We do not stagger at the Promise of God because of the time—the years that have past.  No, we are here; we are waiting; we are watching; every day, every year, we are looking upwards.  Sometimes our faith rises, sometimes it goes down, but we are going on with the Lord.

We stagger not at the Promise of God through troubles.  We stagger not at the Promise of God through sicknesses.  We stagger not at the Promise of God through death.  We have buried a couple of pastors.  We have buried wonderful brothers who contended for the faith, who were young and they grew old yet that does not disturb the Church of God

We stagger not at the Promise of God through unbelief.  We are marching on.  If it does not come today, it will come tomorrow.  If does not come tomorrow, it will come next month.  If it does not come next month, it will come next year.  So we press the battle and we go on.

That is the vision; that is the faith that each one of us must have as we press the battle.  Never let time cause you to stagger.  Don’t let troubles cause you to stagger and make you think that you would not get that Promise.  Never let sickness cause you to stagger.  Never let somebody in the church dying cause you to stagger at the Promise of God, or promise of healing, or promise of salvation.  Never let the backsliding of somebody cause you to stagger and make you think as a young man, a young woman, “I will be the next one, I will fall away.”  No, that is staggering at the Promise of God.

ISAAC: TYPE OF CHRIST & OUTPOURING

Consider Abraham—one hundred years old and his body dead.  Consider Sarah and the deadness of her womb.  The Bible said that Abraham staggered not at the promise of God.  Not only did he “not stagger”, but “he was strong in faith.”  Not only was he “strong in faith”, but he jumped up every morning and started praising God, giving glory to God that he will have this promise that God made, “Grandpa is going to have a baby!   Grandma, with the deadness of her womb, is going to bear a child!”  “How will she go through those labor pains?” “I don’t know, but God said so!”  Yes, he was giving glory to God everyday, every night.  He built the crib and he was ready for the baby.  Oh yes!  Sarah got all the baby clothes ready.  I guess sometimes he picked up the bootie and the diapers and started swinging them around—giving glory to God, thanking God!

Now that is faith!  What is your sickness compared to that?  Nothing!  I am saying that your sicknesses are nothing in comparison to the condition of Abraham and the condition of Sarah believing that they will bring forth this child called Isaac.

Now today, that child and that promise that they were looking for equals to our Promise, the birth of Christ through the Bride in the end time.

Galatians 4:19: <My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,>

That promised child, called Isaac, is a type of the Promise that is made to us when the Church will manifest Christ one more time here before the rapture takes place.  This is not something foreign; there is a people today that are looking for that same Promise of God. And they are looking for that Promise of God longer than Abraham, longer than Sarah.  We have passed those years of Abraham and we are looking for that Promise of God.  We have our little trials; we have our little problems; we have our ups; we have our downs; we have our sicknesses; we have our demonic battles; we have depressions sometimes.  Not everybody is strong; somebody is weak, but the Bible says,

Ephesians 6:10: <Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.>

Abraham was strong in faith giving glory to God.  I could picture Abraham. I want to get this point over to you to help you to understand that they were people just like us. Abraham was an ordinary man like you and me.  Sarah was an ordinary woman just like any one of the sisters here.  She had a problem, you know.  She laughed in unbelief in the back of the tent and she lied!  She had little problems, too.

Do you think Abraham lived a hundred years without getting a headache?  You have to read your Bible as it is!  Do you think that he did not lie down in bed with a fever and some kind of a sickness?  Do you think that he did not have aches and pains, and suffer a little arthritis at that age?  Do you think that at that age his heart was just pumping like a sixteen-year-old fellow?  No!  He had sicknesses.  He had problems: he had to correct Sarah around the house; he had to settle the disputes between the herdsmen of Lot and his herdsmen.

They were a normal people, but the difference between Abraham and other men is that he was looking for a promise without any unbelief.  He just knew that promise will come; God will send that promise in time; and then he will be a blessing to the entire world.  So, he was an ordinary man.  Sarah was an ordinary lady.  Before, they were living in another area of the world where they worshipped the moon and the sun—moon worshippers.  The Lord called him out of idolatry, called him out of his heathen religion.

Now that is where the Lord sought us and brought us from; and then He caused us to hear about a Promise.  Beloved, we believe that Promise and we are waiting for that Promise and we are not staggering at that Promise.  It does not matter how many decades pass by; it does not matter who dies; it does not matter who gets sick; it does not matter who doubts it; it does not matter who backslides.  We are not staggering at that Promise of God, but we are stronger in faith today, giving Glory to God.

I believe we have grown considerably in the Word of God: we have grown in the grace of God; we have grown in faith.  The things that we never understood before, we understand them today.  The revelations that we never had before, we have them today.  So we are stronger in faith, giving glory to God, because if we are the seed of Abraham, then we must act like Abraham.  We are past the time that Abraham and Sarah waited, but we are sure that Promise is going to come to pass.

I do not know of anybody in our midst here today and those that are in the Caribbean (Bethel, Guyana) that have in their hearts to say, “Well, I don’t believe that the Promise will come.”  I do not know of anybody.  Beloved, the Promise will be here.  Yes.  People may have their ups and have their downs but the fact is that they believe that that Promise is going to come.  That goes for the individual: it does not matter what happens in your life—no matter what is your up, what is your down, what is your problem, what is the sin that so easily besets you—take that courage in your heart, “Look, but I believe the Promise.  I believe It is going to be here.  I believe that It is going to come to pass.”  The Lord is looking down at that faith.

Abraham staggered not at the Promise of God.  Look at the great compliment that Paul gave to Abraham.  The Bible said,

<He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief;>

But I can find in the Scripture where he went and took Hagar and brought forth an Ishmael, trying to fulfill a promise.  But even in that, he was applying faith.  Yes, he said, “Well, if Sarah cannot bring forth this child, Hagar might be able to bring him forth.”  He was exercising faith.  He was doing some kind of works, but he was doing the wrong thing.

Now I believe that each one of us have our ups and our downs but then look down into your heart, take courage, and see that “Down in my heart, I believe that Promise.  I believed it thirty years ago, and I still believe it.  I believed it twenty years ago, and I still believe it.  I believed ten years ago, and I still believe it.  I believe it today, like I believed it yesterday.”  That is the important thing that you have to look at.  The Lord will take care of the rest.  Press the battle.  Try to overcome.  Try to draw closer to the Lord, and the Lord will take care of the rest.  That is the truth!

WAITING FOR THE PROMISE LONGER THAT ABRAHAM – SINCE 1967

Many of you have been looking for the Promise of God since 1967, years before your children and grandchildren were born.  That is thirty-eight years.  Beloved, we have passed the twenty-five years of Abraham’s waiting.  Yes, I believe that “the grace that brought us safe thus far”, that same grace will take us on.

Never mind your troubles; never mind your sicknesses; never mind your depressions; never mind your oppression, as long as you believe down in your heart, “That Promise will come and it is for me.  It is for my wife; it is for my children.  Lord, I am in such a miserable condition, I don’t know how you are going to give me that Promise, but I believe the Promise is for me.”  Now that is for the individual.  It does not matter how low you become, though you see the grave before you, continue to believe.  “Yes, Lord, I believe it is for me.”  Sometimes, Satan digs a hole, takes your head and bends it down there.  He says, “I will put you six feet down there.”  Keep on believing.  Trust in the Lord.

So what happens if you die?  If you die, you die!  Abraham died and a Promise was passed on to his son. And that next fellow died, and the Promise was passed on to his son.  Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—the Promise was made to them; and later on, the Promise was fulfilled under Joshua when they did get that land.

We believe with all of our hearts; we believe with all of our souls.  We had today a man like Abraham, called Branham.  Now we had a living example.  We do not have to go back to the Scripture there to see how Abraham acted; we had a tremendous example in the man called Branham.

BRANHAM STAGGERED NOT AT THE PROMISED OUTPOURING –

FOLLOWERS STAGGERED

I can say of this great man, Branham, who is a type of Abraham, that Branham “staggered not at the Promise of God through unbelief.”  It is a disgrace today to know that soon after Brother Branham died, the followers of Malachi 4 throughout the world staggered at the Promise of God through unbelief.

Sarah one time staggered, when the Angel came down and He start speaking, “It’s about time that you have that child.” Abraham believed, but then Sarah smiled and she said, “Me, an old woman?”  She doubted but Abraham believed.

I believe that something like that is happening since the time of the message that was brought to us by Brother Branham.  Branham staggered not at the Promise of God and we look for the same Promise as Brother Branham.

You, who have been hearing about this great Outpouring and revival to come, don’t ever get into your mind that that is the idea of Brother Kenny, or the idea of the ministers here and “I have to check this thing out.”  Don’t you ever get into your mind that that is the idea of Brother Bruce. “I think Brother Bruce had that idea and he passed it down to Brother Kenny and the other ministers, and they really believe Brother Bruce.”  No, Friend, this thing traces back further than that!  Don’t you ever think that the principles and the policies that are set in the house of God here were hatched up overnight by Brother Kenny and Brother Bruce.  No, sir!  This thing has its foundation in the Scriptures; it has a foundation in the message of the hour.  Now any time you start thinking like that, you will doubt, you will fear, but if you go back to see where the foundation is, I think that you would be better off.

PROMISED OUTPOURING HAS WORD & MESSAGE FOUNDATION

The first thing, the foundation is in the Bible.  These promises are laying there for thousands of years.  The promise of the rapture is laying there for two thousand years.  The Promise of Christ coming into the Bride to be glorified in his saints is laying there for two thousand years.  We can trace this Promise of God, way back to Abraham through grace, and come right up to the Old Testament and then come right down to the New Testament here.

We are those people who found the grace of God to receive this Promise.  I believe that we ought to appreciate our privilege.  I believe we ought to appreciate the grace that God has given to us.  I believe we ought to appreciate all the labors of God’s servants right up to the time of Jesus and way back into the Old Testament.  We are entering into their labors.

John 4:37: <One soweth, and another reapeth.>

THERE SHALL BE A PERFORMANCE OF GOD’S PROMISE

We should be more than grateful to the Lord to see our Promise, to see what we are entering into.  Never let your spirit get damp.  Never let your spirit become doubtful because of the length of time.  You have been hearing since you were little fellows that “That great Outpouring is going to come; that Token is going to come,” and you can grow accustomed to hearing that.  You begin to think, “My, I am hearing that since I was a little fellow.”  But it will be here!  It is going to be here.  You see, it is not I that made that Promise, nor Brother Kenny that made that Promise, nor any other person made that Promise.  It is God that made the Promise.  “What God promised, He is able to perform,” the Bible said. (Romans 4:21) There shall be a performance of the great Promise that God made.  Yes, sir!  I believe that with all of my heart.

Elizabeth was prophesying and said,

<…for there shall be a performance of those things...>, because God promised it.  Luke 1:45.

Look how long God had promised that there would be a Messiah born; a virgin shall bring forth a child. (Isaiah 7:14)  Friend, that was eight hundred years before Jesus was born!  Do you know how many people must have called Isaiah a false prophet?  How many people believed that?  God’s children believed right through until it was performed. there shall be a performance of those things…”

Look at that lady, Blind Anna.  Lost her husband when she was a young lady it was said that eighty years she was in that temple, and it was revealed to her that she will see the Messiah, even like Simeon. (Luke 2:25-38)  And they did see the Messiah come into the temple.  How many years are you waiting?  I do not check time, Friends.  Why do we sit down and check time?  We do not sit down and check time; we look at God’s Promise!  The fact is that He will bring that Promise in time.   Yes,there shall be a performance of those things…”

This is not something that was hatched up by the man called Lambert.  No sir, this went further than that.  There was a man before Lambert that was keeping a vision of that Promise.  This, which you have been hearing about the Promise of God and all the other promises of God, is anchored in the Bible and anchored in the message of William Branham.  It is going to come to pass.

WHAT IS THE MESSAGE – PROMISED LAND OUTPOURING

Now the complete essence of Brother Branham’s message was likened unto Moses.  Moses was sent to lead the people of God to a Promised Land.  That Promised Land is a type of another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  The message of Brother Branham had a great Promise in it and people do not understand that.

People say that they are following the message.  You ask them, “What is the message?”  Well, they think the message is “water baptism,” and “a woman should not preach,” and all those other fundamental things.  No, the essence of the message of Brother Branham was “another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit”.  Don’t you ever deviate from that, Friends—that the Promise in Brother Branham’s message was “another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.”  That is where the whole thing is anchored.  We can prove that by many quotations, many places in the Scripture; (and we have already proven that to the world through thirteen books, Exposition of Damnable Heresies (EODH).   People have already caught on to it.  They believe that.  A major book to prove the promises of God is EODH Book 7.  Just to brief you a little bit, the highlight message of Brother Branham was called “The Token”.

HIGHLIGHT MESSAGE OF MY ENTIRE MINISTRY

Quote W.M.B.:  This morning, the message this morning was, to me, the highlights Message of my entire ministry; this morning, see, a highlight Message of my entire ministry Desperation 63-0901E.

[Ed. Note: The Token was preached 63-0901 in the morning].

HEADSTONE FOR SUPER CHURCH

Quote:  119-4  All right. Now, here is what I'm trying to say to you: The law of reproduction bring forth of its kind (Genesis 1:11). These last days, true church Bride comes to the Headstone, will be the super church, a super race. As they near the great Headstone they will be much like--so much like Him, even they will be in His very image in the order to be united with Him. They will be One. They will be the very manifestation of the Word of the living God. The Spoken Word Is The Original Seed V-3 N-2  62-0318.  [See also Church Age Book, pages 171-176]

THUNDERS BRING BACK HEADSTONE

Quote:  48-5 Could it be? Is this the mystery of the thunders that will bring back the Headstone? Is This The Sign Of The End Sir  62-1230E.

A MILLION MILES FROM PENTECOST

QuoteOh, you think about everything big and everything swanky and everything... Don't look for that. Why, you're a million miles from Pentecost. The Pentecostal people didn't look for easy things. As The Eagle Stirreth  V-2 N-12 60-0403.

Matthew 24:14  <And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.>

I Thessalonians 1:5  <For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost…>

The prophet of God contended for the church to go back to Pentecost, beyond a shadow of a doubt.  He highlighted a “Speak the Word” ministry, where missing limbs and arms will be created.

CREATIVE POWER COMING TO THE CHURCH

Quote W.M.B.: E-38    Let me say this, if you count me a fanatic from this night on. That very same thing that I'm speaking of will be done. There'll be a power put into the Church, and now is coming in, that the Holy Spirit will so anoint the people, till they'll speak the Word and It'll create Itself right there. Hear Ye Him 60-0313.

MISSING ARMS AND LIMBS WIL BE RESTORED

Quote: 336-3 {24} I believe that the hour is approaching when missing limbs will be restored... I believe if He can make a squirrel appear that has no... Here if the man or woman just got a part missing, and that's complete animal in itself. Oh, He is God. The Fifth Seal  63-0322.

Yes, I believe that.  The prophet of God looked for these promises until he passed on to glory.  Brother Branham’s going on to glory does not change the Promise of God because Brother Branham never made the Promise.  No.  In all of Brother Branham’s ministry, notice that he staggered not at the Promise of God.  He never staggered at the first pull; never staggered at the second pull; and he never staggered at the third pull, which is the “Speak the Word” ministry.  He went on confessing faith in whatever the Lord told him.  Brother Branham went down in faith believing with all that he preached.

THE SICK WILL BE HEALED BY A WORD

Quote W.M.B.:    E-62    I believe that the church of the living God is moving into a sphere now that's going to shake the whole world…"Ask anything that you will, and it shall be given unto you, anything you desire."…Oh, it's going to come to pass pretty soon. I'm looking for it to happen in this meeting. I'm wanting it to happen now, that that anointing will strike the whole church of the living God, and she'll rise to her feet like a mighty marching army. The sick will be healed by a word; the blind will see; the deaf will hear; the dead will be raised up; and the power of God will shake the world with the church of the living God. We're in the process of it now. I believe it's soon coming to pass. I believe it will be just exactly that way. I believe it's going to strike the church of God soon, and it's going to start a revival that'll shake the world. I believe it. Speak To This Mountain 59-1123.

SAY TO THIS MOUNTAIN – FULNESS OF POWER OF HOLY GHOST IN THE CHURCH

Quote: E-38    We haven't seen powers like's coming into the Church now. I know it for a fact. "Say unto this mountain be moved. Don't doubt in your heart, but believe that what you've said shall come to pass, you can have what you have said.": the placing of the Church in position, where the fulness of the power of the Holy Ghost comes into the Church. Then critics mouths will be shut. It'll be a short time… it won't last long, but it'll be here. Hear Ye Him 60-0313.

Now understand that when Brother Lambert came up here to the East (traveling from the South) and he established the Promise of God to you, it was not his thoughts; it was not his idea; it was not what he hatched up somewhere.  That man found that Promise of God in the message of William Branham.  So his departure, his death, has nothing to do with the Promise of God.  Just as certain as Brother Branham passed on and the Promise of God is still going to come, the death of God’s servant, Brother Lambert, has nothing to do with this Promise of God.  It is going to come to pass.  Now the death of any one of our ministers today who are preaching the Word of God has nothing to do with it.  The Promise of God is going to come to pass and you have to believe it that way.  How?  When?  I do not know, but it is going to come to pass!

We should not stagger at the Promise of God.  We should not let our weaknesses, we should not let sin, we should not let the backsliding of others, we should not let the battles around the world that rages against this Promise of God stop us in any way.  We are pressing the battle; we are going forward in faith believing.

If we were living in Bible days, and we had to write like Brother Paul, then I would like to put in this verse here:

<And Branham staggered not at the Promise of God through unbelief.>

I tell you, if it was the days of the writing of the Bible, that will go in there.  Brother Branham will be just like Abraham, “But he was strong in faith giving glory to God for all the promises that God gave to him.”

NOWHERE DID THE PROPHET SAY, “THERE MAY NOT BE AN OUTPOURING”

If you study the message of Brother Branham, he never let up anywhere and said, “Well, I am not sure about this and I don’t think this may come to pass.”  No, Friend!  Brother Branham spoke positively, in the affirmative concerning the Promise of God, concerning the “Speak the Word Power,” concerning the reaping of the harvest, concerning all the promises of God, down to the healing of his body.

Now, in all this faith that the prophet of God had, he was a human being.  He had his little problems; he had his little sicknesses.  You know Brother Branham suffered with a certain sickness of his stomach that lasted for years upon years until just a matter of one month before the time of his death, then he proclaimed that the Lord healed him.  Now that did not trouble the faith of Brother Branham; that did not cause Brother Branham to stagger at the Promise of God.

Show me anywhere in all his preaching where Brother Branham said, “There may not be an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit,” or “There may not be another revival.”  (No, he was not guessing around.)  Or, “Maybe the Lord would not heal me.”  He staggered not at the Promise of God.  Show one place where Brother Branham said, “I don’t think that there will be a Bride because of all the sins that are in the world today and because of the unbelief of the people.  I don’t think there will be a Bride.  I don’t think there will be a rapture.”  No!  He was strong in faith!  Show me one place where Brother Branham said, “There won’t be a Super Church” or the “Headstone would not come.”

Beloved, it does not matter how much Sarah doubted the Promise “Abraham” was believing today. He was giving glory to God.  The prophet of God was a jolly man.  The prophet of God was a man of faith.  The prophet of God was a man of sacrifice: going to a cave and remaining there from his family for three days, fasting and praying.  He was a man that knew how to stand against the world and all the persecutions.

I believe Brother Branham was greater than Abraham.  Now that is not an irresponsible statement.  John the Baptist was greater than all the other prophets because he preached the Kingdom.  What about Brother Branham?

THE PROPHET DECLARED THE PROMISED OUTPOURING

Brother Branham never denied that Promise of God.  He was like Moses—believed that Promise of God regardless of what it was.  Brother Branham was a man of faith.  He is the one that declared concerning an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  He is the one that spoke about a super Church.  He is the one that spoke of the coming of the Headstone.  He is the one that proclaimed a revival.  He never saw it, but it is going to be here.

This is not something that “was hatched up here in Connecticut, way up in the East, by a man called Lambert.  After a while they killed Lambert and there are a few people deceived up here in the East.”  No Friends, if we are deceived, Brother Branham was deceived; and Brother Branham was not deceived!  He was like Abraham and he staggered not at the Promise of God.  All that Brother Lambert did was to enter in to that message.  He caught the inspiration, he caught the vision of what Brother Branham was trying to produce, and he proclaimed it.

THE PROPHET’S PURPOSE: BUILD POWER HOUSES FOR GOD

Quote W.M.B.:  27-5   We’re not building an organization. I'm not here this morning to build an organization. Christ never sent me to build an organizations. Christ sent me to build individuals to the statue of Jesus Christ that they might be the power house...?.. dwelling place of His Spirit by His Word (Uh-huh.)--by His Word. See? Build up the individual to that place, not build an organization to a greater denomination, but build the individual to sons and daughters of God. That's the idea. The Stature of a Perfect Man 62-1014M.

That is our mission up to today.  Why am I up here?  I am trying to build powerhouses for God.  Why have I left Trinidad and come to you again for the twenty-fifth time since 1979?  I am interested in building men and women into the stature of Jesus Christ where they can become powerhouses for God.  My interest is to see each one of you, every young man, every young woman, receive what they received by the great Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the fullness of God.  I want to see the nine divers gifts in operation!  I want to see a five-fold ministry set in order!  I want to see the dead raised!  Yes, I want to see the crippled legs made straight!  I want to see mighty signs and wonders!

I looked at a picture in the room there just now and I saw Jesus walking on the waters.  Oh, my, I said, “Lord, that’s what I want.”  That is not hard to ask.  Somebody will walk on the waters!  I believe I will walk on the waters.  Yes, sir!  That is not fanaticism.

John 14:12:  <Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.>

We are not staggering at the Promise of God.  That picture declares how comfortable he was walking.  I believe the artist had a good idea.  Jesus was walking upon the waves in the sea and He was so calm.  He was not lifting His feet too high to cross over the waves.  He was just walking calmly, just like He was walking on the road.  My, that inspired me.  I said, “Lord, that’s what I want!”  Yes, I cannot doubt it. The Lord is able to cause you to do that.  Do not doubt and tell me that you cannot walk on the waters because it may not be for you.  The Lord promised that you can do greater than that.

The works of Jesus Christ are: He walked on the water and He called Lazarus from the grave after four days.  Those are only the works of Jesus Christ, but the greater works we are going to do.  Then walking on the waters is a secondary affair.  Calling up a man four days, dead, rotting and stinking is a secondary matter because that is the works of Jesus Christ, but we have to do the greater works and the greater works: “Speak the Word” ministry.  I believe that with all my heart.

So when doubts come up into your mind and you think that “a man called Lambert has fooled somebody; and he expected all these things: he expected an Outpouring, he expected a revival, he expected a Headstone and it never came; and then they killed the man and they buried him, then the promises of God are buried.”  It is not so!  These are the promises that were made by God to William Branham, the messenger of the age.

SOMEBODY’S GOING TO SEE THIS VISION AND TAKE IT ON

Quote W.M.B.: E-31    God wants the church to be filled with the Holy Ghost, doing the same works that He did when He was here on earth… That's the kind of Church that the Teacher, the Holy Spirit, will want to present before God…And the church will have to have the same Spirit, doing the same things that Jesus did; or it'll never go in the rapture…That's exactly the way the church has got to be. Jesus was always about the Father's business, doing that which was right in His sight... Enoch walked with God five hundred years, and had a testimony that he pleased God. And he was a type of the raptured Church. Oh, but we're short. Then that child... God had to raise up another child. And if Pentecost fails God, God's able of these stones to rise children unto Abraham. God can call it from the Lutheran, from the Baptists, from the Presbyterians; God's able of these stones to rise children to Abraham. Somebody's going to see the vision and take it on. Hear Ye Him 60-0313.

I am here to tell you, my Brothers and Sisters, that your pastor caught that vision of the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a revival to come and a Headstone to come and the thunders breaking to the public; and he has carried it on.  I don’t care what the world says, there was only one man that propagated the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a super Church for years, and that was the man called Robert Lee Lambert!  Yes, sir.  He caught the vision.

Oh my, it is glorious to think, Friends.  Brother Branham was a type of Moses.  Though he never entered into this great revival, (Moses was forbidden to enter the land), Moses believed.  Brother Branham believed with all of his heart, but then there was a people that arose after the days of Moses who believed and entered the Promised Land.  We had a type of this group in Caleb.  Caleb and Joshua said, “We are more than able to take the land.  Yes, we are going up to take the land.”

CALEB TYPED TRUE BELIEVERS

Quote W.M.B.:  120-5 Now, let us stand like Joshua and Caleb as we see the promised land coming in sight. It's nearing the time to be given. "Joshua" in Hebrew means "Saviour" and represents the promised end time leader to take the church over. Caleb represents the true believer who stayed with Joshua. The Spoken Word Is The Original Seed V-3 N-2  62-0318.

Friends, tell me who upon the face of the earth was proclaiming that Promise and believing that Promise and looking for that Promise.  I say humbly, only a handful of people out of the whole of the United States (and I will extend that to the whole world), found grace in the sight of God to believe the vision of Brother Branham and contend for the Promise, even up to today.  You are that people.  You have found great grace in the sight of God, and you are still here.  Some went to the grave, (that is okay) but the Promise will come.  Some lost their hair, some got gray, but the Promise is going to be here.

We should rejoice about our Promise!  Every day we should get up and give glory to God, thanking Him for this Promise!  It is not maybe coming to pass; it is going to come to pass!

So there are a handful of people.  It has to start somewhere.  If people do not believe that, that does not concern us.  There had to be a people upon the face of the earth that caught the vision of Brother Branham.  Our pastor here, (I am not ashamed to call this man of God my pastor), caught the vision of this Promise and he was a born revivalist.

THE REVIVALIST AND MARTYR PROCLAIMED THE PROMISE

We sent out a book called “The First Martyr for the Message of Malachi 4:5” (the revivalist, Robert Lee Lambert) and we would not back up on that.  People read that book, Brother Renner, and I tell you the amount of letters I got!  They say, “When I read that, I didn’t know what to do with myself.”  One fellow said, “I laughed! I cried! I jumped! I praised God for this man’s life.”  I have not had one bad report from anyone that ever read that book.  Not one said, “I disagree with it and I don’t believe this testimony.”

One man here, a clown, always provoking this church, wrote a letter.  He would not even put his name on it said, “There is only one bad part in that book, and that is when you started speaking of those that rejected the message and did wrong under the revelation.”  I wrote him back, “Are you saying that when the scribes   spoke about Judas in the Gospel  that that is the only bad part in the Gospel?  When they wrote the biography of Jesus, his teachings, and how he stood with the Word of God, is that the only bad part when they said how Judas betrayed the Lord?”  I said, “These people that are in that book are betrayers and Judases, so we are right on time.”  He never wrote back since.  You see, people say things, but forget what is in the Bible.  The scribe over there wrote the good with the bad; and that is what we did—put the good with the bad  in “The First Martyr” book.

Oh, I thank God, that man of God proclaimed the Promise.  And Lambert staggered not at the Promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith giving glory to God.

George Parylla, staggered not at the Promise of God.  That man was a hero.  Yes, sir.  You talk about a defiant man!  One time something happened.  I said, “Brother George are you not afraid that somebody will do you harm and kill you down there. The old warrior said, “The quicker, the better, Brother Bruce! I go into the presence of the Lord.”

Now those are the kinds of heroes the Lord raised up in our time.  My Beloved, we could look here and see the Bible repeating itself; great men, great lives and great characters repeating themselves.

This was Brother Branham’s idea.  Get that in your hearts, Little Children.  You are not following something that Brother Lambert hatched up and left here with Brother Kenny and then, “we don’t know about it, or we are not sure about it and I don’t know if it will come to pass.”  This is Brother Branham’s message.  This is the Promise made of God to William Branham and he was a vindicated prophet.  So we are not guessing around.

No, we are in this thing together; and we are pressing the battle.  We still believe that Promise is going to come to pass.  We still believe in a revival to come.  We still believe in a Headstone to come.  We still believe in all the promises of God.  We still believe that the rapture is going to take place.  If you had any kind of a fear or unbelief of what is going on here and not sure if to believe this. Get that out of your minds!  Go back to Brother Branham’s message.  He is the one that advocated these things.  The Token was his highlight message.

TOKEN MESSAGE – HIGHLIGHT OF ALL MY MINISTRY

Quote W.M.B.:  9 The message this morning was to me the highlights message of my entire ministry, this morning (See?), highlight message of my entire ministry. Someday I'll tell you how it come about. And I know that everything has worked for months and months and months up to that one message, moving up to come to that place. That was the capping-off time of it. Desperation 63-0901E.

Yes, the Super Church is coming through the Headstone and through the seven thunders, because Something of great importance was on Its way.

Beloved, I have not heard of a man, nor seen a man, nor read of a man, in any part of the world, who took up the message called, “The Token” and the coming revival, the coming Headstone, and highlighted that, outside of Lambert.  If there is another, we have not seen him in thirty-eight  years.  Now we believe the one that we have heard; and we were not ashamed to publish him as the first martyr and the revivalist after Brother Branham.  This revivalist was looking forward for the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  Brother Branham was a revivalist in himself, and this man caught that vision and took it on.   He met much opposition.  Everybody that read that book concerning this revivalist was impressed.  Only one or two fools tried to combat that; and their mouths were shut.

Luke 24:25: <Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.>

Proverbs 18:2: <A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.>

Something great has happened, and now “The First Martyr” is translated into the Hindi language.  The Hindi language is the national language of India.  That exposes the life story of Robert Lee Lambert to one billion people upon the face of the earth.  I believe that is a great thing.  Also, EODH books are being translated; some of them are completed, just waiting to go to the press, waiting on some money that we could say, “Okay, publish, and send it out through India.”  It is going to meet a lot of people.  They are just hungry for the Word of God.  If America does not want it, somebody wants it around the world, Brethren.

The prophet of God said that the Holy Spirit has flown away overseas to other countries seeking souls, because America rejected the great prophet of God.

HOLY SPIRIT FLEW AWAY FROM US

Quote W.M.B.: E-56  The Holy Spirit flew away from us, and She's gone overseas hunting lambs to dwell in. That's really, exactly what's taking place… it seems like the farther away from God the nation gets. Making The Valley Full Of Ditches 56-0728.

But I still believe that there is one more revival that is going to start here in the East as Brother Branham spoke about it.

REVIVAL TO START IN NEW ENGLAND (EASTERN USA)

Quote W.M.B.:  E-3 …we expect to have a great climax in the service, and praying that sometime along this way, that something will happen to the people that'll set their hearts afire for God, that an old fashioned revival will break out in New England. It's tried on the west coast; it's tried in the middle east, tried in the south, but seemingly that this is our last place to try: New England. Here's where our forefathers landed for this freedom of religion on Plymouth Rock…If we'll be sincere and believe in the God that they believed in and serve Him with the same reverence that they served Him with, we'll see a revival again. And I believe it will start in New England. God's willing to do it if we're willing to carry it. Tested Faith Produces Goods 58-0518.

That revival will definitely start somewhere in New England.  I believe it with all my heart and I am hoping to be here for that.  I am hoping to be a partaker of that so that I could go back to my people (and wherever the Lord will send me) and say, “This is that, that William Branham spoke about.  This is that which George Parylla spoke about; this is that which Lambert spoke about; this is that which Pastor McGahee spoke about.”  Yes, sir.  We must have the right article to go in the rapture and that is the great Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the fullness of God.

FULFILLMENT OF ALL PROMISES TIED UP IN OUTPOURING

They persecuted this man, Robert Lambert.  I truly believe that he caught that vision of the promises of God.

Friends, without that Token, you cannot go in the rapture.  Without that Token, without that Outpouring, there is no revival.  Without that Token, you cannot have the “Speak the Word” ministry; it takes a Super Anointing to do it.

Now what is the matter with people?  People are sitting down, waiting for the rapture and counting this great Outpouring of the Holy Spirit as something small.  Everything in the end time and all the promises of God are tied up in another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  Without that Holy Spirit in the end time, the thunders cannot be broken to the public; you cannot have the Bride’s revival; you cannot go in the rapture; the dead cannot come from the grave.  So which is the important thing?  Is it not the Token?  Wasn’t that the highlight message of Brother Branham?  Well then, we believe the highlight message.

Tell me where we went wrong.  We never went wrong!  We are on the straight and narrow way all the time and we are going to go forward.  We are pressing the battle; we are not going to stagger at the Promise of God through unbelief.  We believe this thing with all our hearts, all our souls, and all our minds.  Never mind your sicknesses; never mind your troubles.  To think of the privilege that God has given to us and to me, one born out of due season, to hear what you have heard.  (I was not even supposed to hear that.)  But God has chosen you, as little Caleb who caught that vision, to follow the Holy Spirit in the end time.

THE REVIVALIST STAGGERED NOT AT THE PROMISE OF GOD

God used this man, Lambert, picked him up from way down in the South and revealed this Promise to him.  After revealing that Promise to him, Friends, he suffered; he was persecuted.  When Brother Lambert came by and started to speak about a Promise of God for the end time Bride, it was pretty early.  It was before Brother Branham died.  Study the “First Martyr” and you are going to understand better.  God had already revealed to this man the things that he told Brother Branham, “There will be a revival, there will be an Outpouring and there will be a ‘Speak the Word’ ministry.”  This man was proclaiming those promises.  Now after Brother Branham died, many people sat there only expecting the rapture to take place; and they were expecting Brother Branham to come from the dead to take them away in this rapture.  The time went on that Brother Bob came against that resurrection doctrine.  He came against their unbelief because they were saying that they “had perfect faith, perfect love, and were ready for the rapture.  Lambert is a false prophet; there will be no revival; there will be no Token coming; there will be no Outpouring.”  They “already have everything.”  That is a Laodicean Spirit. Revelation 3:14-22.

As one man, that revivalist stood up against all the message world.  I believe that it is complimentary for me to say, “Lambert staggered not at the Promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith giving glory to God and believing that what God has promised He was able to perform.”

Now if they stood like that, how should we stand?  Should we not say the same thing that “God is able to perform the things that He promised.”  I believe that with all my heart.

People do not understand these things.  They think that everybody around the message believes that there is an Outpouring and there is a revival.  Not so!  They considered him as a dog, as a false prophet; but that man stood in the face of all that unbelief and said that there is going to be an Outpouring; there will be a revival!  Nobody believed him from the South, and he was driven out of more than seventy rented places and churches; and he traveled  up to the East here to find little “Caleb.”  He came up here and proclaimed that Promise of God.  After hearing that Promise of God, you believed. Yes sir!

There shall be a performance of those things—must be a performance of those things.  It is no guessing affair.  This is what was promised to Brother Branham.  You have not followed a bald headed character (as he used to say), and are just guessing around about something.  You have followed a sure word of prophecy.  Get this idea out of your head that “Brother Bob said there would be a Promise “and I am not sure about it”  My Beloved, this Promise that God gave belonged to Brother Branham and it belongs to the Church of God.

This man, Brother Bob, was persecuted for that vision but that man had a revelation of what is going to happen today.  He was a firm believer in a “Speak the Word” ministry, firm believer in a Bride’s revival, firm believer in another return of Pentecost, firm believer in the fullness of God coming to the Church. Yes, he “staggered not at the Promise of God through unbelief.”  He went down in martyrdom, believing with all his heart until the last message that he preached.  On the last message, he was still proclaiming that Promise of God, fiery as ever.

Oh, yes!  We ought to give glory to God for all the promises, but the main thing is that there is going to be an Outpouring, and from that Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, everything will flow.  All that you are expecting is going to flow out from that.

I want to let you know how gracious God has been to other people.  This great vision was rejected in The United States from the East to the West.  A lot of people who rejected that now have turned around and started preaching another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, not knowing what they are talking about, in order to save their congregations.  Something has happened.  The Lord has been very gracious to some people in the Caribbean.  He caused that vision to be passed on amongst a handful of people, which has grown now by leaps and bounds.  When your pastor saw that, he said, “There is a powerful church in Trinidad!”  It was nowhere to be seen yet, but that powerful church arose after awhile.

EODH HIGHLIGHTED PROMISED OUTPOURING & EXPOSED HERESIES

God is gracious!  The great blessings of the Lord that he has blessed the people with today, is that God moved us to publish “Exposition of Damnable Heresies.”  In order to expose these heresies, we had to highlight the Promise of God and the revival.  This started to circulate around the world because they provoked us into fighting: they started dumping all this garbage upon us, telling us this, telling us that.  We started to fight and expose all heresies that are around the world.

My!  They are broken up from one corner of the earth to the next.  From India to Africa to the Philippines and throughout the world, there are very few heretics who were not exposed.  They are very sorry that they interfered with us!

This vision of the Promise of God that Brother Branham held was highlighted in those books.  The vision that was held by Brother Lambert was highlighted in those books. The vision of that Promise that you uphold and look for was highlighted in  those books.  And it went forward and prospered.

Now we have a great gathering of people (not gathered in one place) to support that vision in India, in Africa, the Philippines and in Germany.  I am talking about gallant ministers who even support this financially.  I am talking about that revelation making people bold, who will walk right there and say, “Whoever doesn’t believe this, walk out!”  Yes, Friends, I am talking about boldness when they hear that revelation.

We have received thousands of letters from people who get those books.  We cannot finish reading the letters; and most of these people are proclaiming that there is going to be another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Now what I am trying to emphasize is the vision that was in Brother Branham’s heart that he passed on to you.  We had it in a little corner and a little place in Trinidad, but it has now gone out into the world.  Something is happening.  I believe that it went out to prepare the people’s hearts, that when this great Outpouring comes, they will say, “Yes, that’s it!  That is what we are looking for.”  I believe if that had not happened, the people would not know what is going on and they will be like the people in the book of Acts.

Acts 19:2: <He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.>

Then Paul had to start all over, talking about John the Baptist, then Jesus and the day of Pentecost, to help the people.  As Kenny McGahee rightly said, “We never expected, we never dreamt, we never thought that something like this would happen—that the people would grasp that there is another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit and that there is another revival for the Bride.”  While these heresies are being exposed, the people caught on to something; and that is: there is something Genuine on the way, that is going to come.

The time would fail to tell you of the kind of letters of confession, dedication and support to that ministry, preaching the Capstone to come.  Men have risen up and they are defiant to those heresies, defiant to those heretics, and are proclaiming that there is going to be an Outpouring; there is going to be a revival for the Bride.  Now that never happened in the history of the message, but now it has gone out.  They love the Lord with all of their hearts.

We have a gallant man who is heading many of the ministers in India.  He is a kingpin down there for EODH ministry.  He answers their questions.  What he cannot answer, he sends to me.  He sends out the books from there; he prints the books; the books are translated out there; and there is a great gathering of ministers that are proclaiming the same vision that you heard about and you contended for, for many years.  They know that there is going to be an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  They just know it; they believe it.

There is definitely a hunger setting in.  Somebody is being blessed somewhere, and I am thankful to the Lord.  Some of them are so dirt poor, your heart bleeds when they tell you of their needs.  So let us continue to pray.  I am telling you that this vision that Brother Bob and Brother Branham held has caught on to many ministers around the world.  There shall be a performance of the things that God has promised.  Amen.
