WE HAVE NOT FOLLOWED FABLES
CHAPTER FIVE
<¶ I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. > 2 Timothy 4:1-4.
<¶ Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.”
¶ For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
¶ We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:> II Peter 1:12-19.
It is such marvelous Scriptures. My little message tonight would be entitled “We Have Not Followed Fables.” I want to establish that in way of remembrance.
FICTITIOUS STORIES - RELIGIOUS
<We Have Not Followed Cunningly Devised Fables.> A fable is a fictitious story. We Have Not Followed a Fictitious Story drawn up by Brother Branham or by Brother Lambert; nor drawn up by Brother Bruce, Brother Parylla, nor Brother McGahee, (our former pastors here at Grace Covenant Church), and now drawn up by Brother Kenny McGahee and the ministers over there in the Caribbean. But, Brother Peter went on to say that we have followed “a more sure word of prophecy.” I believe we have “a sure word of prophecy.” There are many doctrines and many heresies around the world; they are only fictitious stories. All organizations establish fictitious stories. That is not the Gospel. If it is not a “sure word of prophecy,” then it is a fictitious story. Around the world, all organizations and all religions have fictitious stories. That is why you could read in the Roman religion and the Catholic religion all kinds of things about Atlas, and great big idols. They are fictitious stories that make up a religion.
There is no end of the Hindu religion’s fictitious
stories. It sickens you to hear them. All trace back to Nimrod; all
trace back to
The Hindu philosophy says that a man was born, a monkey man. His name was Hanuman; he had a tail. His mother realized that (in the last reincarnation) she was a bad woman, so she blinded herself and went to the jungle. Then a god was passing and gave her this child; and said he will make him a monkey man because his mother could not take care of him. After that, Hanuman was born. They called him “the power of the wind,” because he controls the wind.
Do you know who that is in the Bible? Satan is
the prince and the power of the air. They made up that story and people
believe that by the millions around the world. Almost the whole of
The story went on to say that he started to eat fruits from the trees. His mother told him that anything that is red, he can eat it. Do you know what happened to that monkey man? He went out there and swallowed the sun! (People believe that!) Hanuman made a mistake and swallowed the sun. All the other gods came and bowed down to this monkey man and told him to spit out the sun. So, he eventually vomited the sun.
Some of us came from that background. We have come here to fellowship with you under the Word of God today. That is where Brother Bruce came from; my mother, my grandfather, Sister Parbatee, Brother Anant (their parents) were Hindus.
God has delivered us. We realized that was a
fictitious story. There is no end, if you ever know about that
culture. You have to sit down in the evening there and for seven days
they have what you call a revival or Bhagwat.
After that, they tell those stories from a book called the Ramayana.
There is no end to those stories. They trace right back to
But, I will tell you something, I was not born for that! From the time I was small and heard those stories, I told my grandmother, “I don’t believe that!” One thing she said that really remained with me, “Son, no matter how many gods that people talk about, there is only one God in this world!” Coming to the end of her life, I baptized her and led her to the Lord. She, an old Hindu, confessed the Lord Jesus. I said, “Why did you believe that then?” She said, “I believed that because of your grandfather, but I never believed in the Hindu religion;” and she died calling on the Name of the Lord.
That is how far a fictitious story, can carry you. This world is made up of fables. A lot of fables are written in history to cover the reputation and the pride of men.
A man told me a fictitious story when I was a little fellow. I used to sell rum and serve in a restaurant. I was a bad fellow. Little Fellows, God has chosen you to grow up in Christian homes. I had to toss up with a lot of roughnecked people and sell rum until two o’clock in the morning, (a little fellow, exposed to a lot of things). A man walked in there and told me a fictitious story one time. I listened to him; and he said, “There was a man that used to eat soap, and drink kerosene, and run faster than a motor car, and he used to jump from one house roof to another, and one day, he fell down and died!” It was the blankest story that I ever heard! He said, “The story end!”
Mary used to be on one side of my bed and Susie used to be on the other side and say, “Daddy, tell us a story.” Mary said, “Daddy, I badly want to make the rapture.” They would say, “Daddy, tell us a last one!” I would say, “A man used to eat soap, and drink pitch oil, and…!” They would say, “Daddy, not that one, not that one! We are tired of hearing that!” They want to hear Bible stories.
That is what Brother Peter was talking about. He said, “Listen to me, when I preached unto you the Gospel, it was not something like that, that came from Babylon, or came by some kind of a story telling. It is not a fictitious story. It is not something made up.”
He was a departing shepherd. I think of a departing Shepherd, how his heart would feel. The Lord had already prophesied that he would die as a martyr, so Peter had that on his mind. In other words, he was trying to confirm their faith. He said, “Though you are established in the present truth, I am trying to confirm your faith, because sooner or later, I must give up this tabernacle. I must die as the Lord prophesied; and I must go. I’m giving you at least another chance.”
II Peter 1:15: <Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.>
Are you getting into the story? Can you get into
the picture of this? It is a departing Shepherd writing a last letter to
the people of God. He said, “I am not telling you something that you
don’t know about. You heard it, and heard it, and heard it, about the
Coming of the Lord. I testified about the Lord on
EYEWITNESSES OF W.M.B.’s MINISTRY AT GCC
I want
you to understand that we had eyewitnesses from the beginning of this ministry
of Brother Branham. There were men that sat under the ministry of Brother
Branham who died and went on; but there are still some alive today here at
II Peter 1:16: <¶ For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.>
He was an eyewitness; and he knew what took place upon the earth and that the Lord had come the first time. He was trying to anchor the faith of the people, that if they were tolerating some kind of doubt, fear, or unbelief in their hearts, he wanted to grind that out before he departed. Even after he died, he wanted their faith to remain solid. He said, “Even after my decease, remember these things, that it was not something that was a fable that was preached unto you for all the years after the Lord ascended into heaven.”
The Coming of the Lord was the emphasis here. He said, “I want you to understand that we did not preach a fable to you when we told you that there was a Man, called the Lord Jesus. He was the Messiah; He came into the world; He preached the Gospel; He was crucified; He rose again from the dead, ascended into glory. The great Power of God came on the day of Pentecost. All those things are not fables.”
I can draw a parallel here, though I cannot go too deep. There was a man today called William Branham, the fulfillment of Malachi 4:5-6. We call him “the Malachi 4 prophet.” When he came on the scene, many of us were not around, but we heard the tapes; we heard the message; we heard eyewitnesses. Great signs, wonders and miracles were done under his ministry. As the time goes on, throughout the years, there are people that do not even believe that there was a man called William Branham who was so mightily used of God. They think that it is a bunch of fables. Some have found it difficult today to believe his declaration at the event of the Seven Seals that the mighty Angel of Revelation 10:1 stood upon the earth. I cannot go too deep there, my Friends.
DOWN COMES THE ANGEL MESSENGER, CHRIST – FOOT ON LAND & SEA
Quote W.M.B.: 74-2 {40} And when the Seals are broke and the mystery is revealed, down comes the Angel, the Messenger, Christ, setting His foot upon the land and upon the sea with a rainbow over His head. Now remember, this seventh angel is on earth at the time of this coming. The Breach 63-0317E.
I am here to imitate Brother Peter, to put you in remembrance of some things, though you know these things and are established in the present truth. Don’t you ever get tired of being reminded about the promises of God. Sometimes, we forget as human beings. Sometimes, it grows stale. Sometimes, it becomes common. Sometimes, the fowls of the air come and take the Word of God out of somebody’s heart. You must be reminded of these things.
The ministry of the prophet of God blossomed unto the opening of the Seals. Revelation 10:1 did stand upon the earth. I want to put you in remembrance that we have not followed cunningly devised fables, even though this ministry started in 1933 and went until 1946, and then it went worldwide until the revival was over in 1962.
Mighty signs and wonders were documented in all kinds of books and they are on tapes. We have: “A Prophet Visits South Africa,” “William Branham—a Man Sent from God,” “Footprints on the Sands of Time;” and now we have five or six books of “Supernatural: The Life of William Branham,” written by our Brother Jorgensen.
We must understand that our children do not have the experience that we had from back there. From the time they were born, they were grown up in the house of God; even unsaved people, who came and were saved under the ministry that we now preach, only heard a story. They never had the experience that Brother Renner and Brother Kenny would have. Brother Kenny, you heard the prophet, you seen him for yourself? Pastor McGahee says he saw the prophet of God. Others here have seen him.
But Beloved, after our children and people who came
from the world constantly hear these stories, sometimes they wonder, “Did that
really happen?” I am here to tell you that what you heard preached to you
over the years and since you were little children or from the time that you
were converted and came to the message, has not been cunningly devised
fables. No, Friends. This was not hatched up overnight by your
ministers here. It was not hatched up by Brother Bruce, from the

I do not believe that when he said that seven angels came down from glory in the “bat of an eye” and literally took him up twenty-six miles high, that that was a fable. Though it may sound like a fable to the world, I am here to put you in remembrance that it is not a fable. No. These things actually happened!
There are thousands of people around the world that believe those things and contend for those things. They are eyewitnesses. Right then, when he was hunting, Brother Branham had several eyewitnesses that the angels came down and took him bodily up into the cloud. So, we have not followed cunningly devised fables when we believed that Malachi 4:5-6 was fulfilled in
William Branham.
EYEWITNESSES OF SEVEN ANGELS APPEARING
Quote W.M.B.: 560-3 {272} You remember, Brother Sothmann, that I, as soon as some things was being told that I put you and Brother Norman... Where's Brother Norman? Back there. Put them under oath that they wouldn't mention what was taking place. Is that right?... I couldn't say it till it happened to see if the people would understand it.
And did you notice that one Angel, I said in there, was a strange Angel? He looked more to me than any of the rest of them…They were in a constellation--three on a side and one on top. And the one right next to me here, counting from the left to the right, would've been the seventh Angel…"It picked me up, lifted me up. The Seventh Seal 63-0324E.
I want to reconfirm your faith tonight, as children. I want to reconfirm
your faith over there in
These were not fables that were drawn up by a man
called William Branham. He had no purpose to draw up fables and tell you
such fantastic things of the dead being raised, crippled legs being made
straight, hundreds of thousands of people being healed. Hundreds of thousands
of people’s hearts were discerned. Mighty miracles took place. He went to

You do not know how hard this is for people to believe, that there was a man whom the Lord used right up to the place of the opening of the seals. (That is fantastic!) To come up to that place where the man was taken up by seven angels, it sounds like some sort of fabricated story, but it is NOT a fabricated story! These things actually happened! There were eyewitnesses and there are still eyewitnesses that are alive today!
If anybody that will hear this message will entertain these thoughts, and
are
not sure if this really happened, we want to reconfirm to you today that this
really happened. Little fellows that are growing up, you do not
understand the message as you ought to; you came in late. Also, to you
from religions, these are not stories fabricated by the pastors of GCC.
No. These things were not fabricated in the
There is a source that this came from. These were promises in the Bible. We have a foundation where we could anchor our faith: the Word of God. These were Scriptures to be fulfilled, that there is going to be a prophet sent before the Second Coming of the Lord. Brother Branham was the fulfillment of Malachi 4:5-6, as the Malachi 4 prophet, anointed by the spirit of Elijah, whom people read about in the Bible for thousands of years. It did happen, Brethren! This is not a fable.
Many of us are tired of hearing these things, but we believe them. I hope you do not mind being reminded today.
Romans 10:17: <So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.>
The more we hear it, the more we believe it! What we are trying to do is to grind out the fear, grind out the doubt, and grind out the unbelief.
Don’t you know, Friends, that there is people way off
in Africa that have recently come to the message
from a heathen religion—just three months, just one year? People recently
denounced their Hindu religion—six months, or one year, eighteen months; and
they are not too sure if these things are true that are coming from way down in
the west, from the country, called
My Beloved, if this message would fall into your hands, I want to confirm your faith. Yes. As a converted heathen, you have made no mistake in leaving your religion. You have made no mistake in leaving your Hindu religion, your African religion, coming out of the Catholic Church. We have not followed cunningly devised fables!
There lived a man called William Branham. He was anointed by the spirit of Elijah. He preached the truth of the Gospel. A pillar of fire did accompany him. These things are not fables, my Beloved! It really happened! There were eyewitnesses, even from his birth. There was a pillar of fire over his crib. I believe those things; and if I did not believe them to be true, I would not be standing behind this pulpit, but they are true! They happened! We have the history books of it. We have the tapes to prove it. We have the films to prove it. He was gifted of God. He was a mighty prophet in our day.
But the parallel I want you to draw here is that Brother Peter is saying that when He made known unto them the Coming of the Lord, it was not a fable. I want you to understand that after the prophet of God was used as an evangelist throughout the world, he came to a very knotty part, of his ministry; that is the opening of the Seals, and the descending of the mighty Angel upon the face of the earth. People around the world find it very difficult to believe.
Right in our backyard, we have a man here who finds it very difficult to believe that Revelation 10:1 stood upon earth like Brother Branham said. He wants to take it to the time of the first resurrection. It is a lie of the devil! We have eyewitnesses and we never cunningly devised fables when we spoke those things to you. It is the truth. It is found in the message. It is found on his tapes. The mighty Angel stood upon earth at the event of the Seals.
WHEN THE SEALS ARE BROKE – DOWN COMES CHRIST
Quote W.M.B.: 74-2 {40} “And when the Seals are broke and the mystery is revealed, down comes the Angel, the Messenger, Christ, setting His foot upon the land and upon the sea with a rainbow over His head. Now remember, this seventh angel is on earth at the time of this coming.”
… “Now, all the mysteries at this time should be finished at the sounding of this messenger. Now, here's the angel on earth, and another Angel, mighty Messenger come down. See, this angel was a earthly angel, messenger. But here comes One down from heaven: a rainbow, covenant. See? Only Christ, it could be;”
… And here He returns back in the 10th chapter after
the coming time, that all the mysteries is to be finished, and the Seals are to
be broke, and proclaiming that its time is no more. And he said, "When the
seventh angel has begin to sound, then the mysteries should be finished and
time for the Angel to appear. We're close, somewhere. That's right. The Breach Between The
REVELATION 10:1 – CHRIST – THE ANGEL OF THE COVENANT
Quote: 146-3 {196} Let me just read it again. It sounds so good to me; I--I like to read it. “‘... I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud:... a rainbow... upon his head, and his face was... the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:’
“Now, we saw the same thing, which was Christ. And we know Christ is always the Messenger to the Church. All right. He's called a Pillar of Fire, the Angel of the covenant and so forth. The First Seal 63-0318.
If that did not happen, Brother Branham would have found himself to be a false prophet, because he was the forerunner of the Second Coming of the Lord. That is not my message. I do not want to go into that area, but Brother Branham was to forerun the Second Coming of the Lord, according to the declaration of the Lord in 1933.
YOUR MESSAGE WILL FORERUN SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Quote W.M.B.: E-69 And I walked out baptizing five hundred that afternoon, as a Missionary Baptist preacher. The seventeenth person I baptized, all at once I heard Something say, "Look up." And I looked, and here come that Pillar of Fire circling down out of the heaven. Stood right over where I was at and said, "As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, your message will forerun the second coming of Christ." If something had not happened at the Seals and had not the mighty Angel stood upon earth, Brother Branham would have been found a lying prophet, but he is not a lying prophet. No sir! That did really happen upon the face of the earth. That confirmed the ministry of Brother Branham.
When we hear of the mighty signs and mighty wonders that took place under Brother Branham’s ministry, and the gift of healing that he brought into the world, that was not a fable. He used the Scripture:
Mark 16:18: <They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.>
If it was not a fable then, it is not a fable today. If you do not believe that is a fable, then apply that Scripture for your healing today! Right in your seats, right in the prayer line realize that that Scripture was not a fable.
There was a man sent of God who made that Scripture live; and he could not do that in the lives of the people until they exercised faith. I am trying to bring up your faith; the Lord is able to heal you. Healing is the children’s bread. It belongs to us, and we have to believe it. We have to accept it.
When the prophet of God came on the scene and he preached that notable message, that “You will receive the Token or perish,” it was not a fable. It was the truth. The truth of it is either that you are going to receive the Token, Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, or you would not go in the rapture. We believe that.
When the prophet of God preached that there is going to be a revival for the Bride, that was not a cunningly devised fable. No. We believe it. When the prophet of God said, “The Latter Rain will sweep the world,” that was not a cunningly devised fable. You see what I am getting to?
The Seals opening was not a fable. The Angel standing upon the earth was not a fable. No. The angels taking Brother Branham up into heaven was not a fable. When Brother Branham said that at the age of fourteen, he went down to hell, it was not a fable.
I WAS SINKING – I GOT INTO THE REGIONS OF THE LOST
Quote W.M.B.: 11-2 I screamed and cried, holding onto, like that, and them cutting that part of the leg off. I was fourteen years old, just a boy… and I'd start bleeding. "Well," I thought, "This is the end of me."… I went into this trance, and I thought I was in hell…
14-2 …I thought I was sinking into a endless eternity... First, I was going through like clouds, and then through darkness, and sinking on down, down, down. And the first thing you know, I got into the regions of the lost. And in there I screamed, and I looked, and there was just everything; there was no foundation to it. When he went up to heaven beyond the curtain of time and saw those whom he led to the Lord, it was not a fable.
BEYOND THE CURTAIN OF TIME
Quote W.M.B.: And I heard something say, "Would you like to see just beyond the curtain?"
I said, "It would help me so much." And I looked, and in just a moment, one breath, I'd come into a little place that's slanted. I looked back, and there I was laying on the bed… Whether it was I was in this body or out, whether it was a translation... And when I hit that little place, I never seen so many people come running, screaming, "Oh, our precious brother." And I looked, and young women, maybe in their early twenties (eighteen to twenty), they were throwing their arms around me and screaming, "Our precious brother." The Rejected King 60-0515M.
Then, when he preached the Token, it was not a fable either. Though men deny that today, we believe it. When he preached revival, it was not a fable. No. When he preached that the Latter Rain will sweep the world, it was not a fable. No. And when he said that there will be another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, it was not a fable either. No, we believe that.
When he said that he created squirrels while he was hunting and he just said, “Let there be a squirrel there; let there be a squirrel there; let there be another squirrel there;” and three squirrels were created, it was not a fable. Sister Hattie Wright could have chosen to believe that “That’s a fable.” But when he came down to the widow’s house and started talking about the creation of squirrels, something fell over the little sister and she said, “That is nothing but the truth!” because it was not a fable.
SQUIRRELS CREATED – THAT’S NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH
Quote W.M.B.: E-61 These squirrels was not a vision. I shot them; blood came out of them. I dressed them and eat them. They wasn't visions; they were squirrels.
I said, "That same Jehovah-jireh…could speak my need into existence the same as He could speak Abraham's need into existence." I'd no more than said that until Sister Hattie (setting there crying now)... hadn't said a word. And she said, "That's nothing but the truth." My New Ministry 59-1115.
Although it sounded like a fable to people, it was not a fable.
Now, we are established in the Word of God; and in our hearts, we have no doubt of these things; we have no fear. But there are people that entertain doubts. After a time, these doubts and these fears take them into the world. It is unbelief in their hearts. Many people that sat under the Word of God, later on, backslid.
A young man who backslid asked me, “Did those things really happen? Those things that you preach, is it really true?” He was born and grown up in church. After several years, I met him and I took him to a service. Coming down home, he was asking me secretly, “Those things that you are preaching are they really true?” Boy, I was so surprised that a person that grew up under the Word of God would ask me such a question! I said, “They are all true.” He is still in the world. It’s unbelief!
I am reconfirming the faith of our children, reconfirming the faith of the young converts. I am reconfirming our faith. We have not followed fables.
THE PROMISES OF GOD, OUTPOURING ARE NOT FABLES
The “Token” is not a fable. “Revival” is not a fable. The “Latter Rain” is not a fable. “Outpouring” is not a fable; and the “Third Pull ministry” is not a fable. The “Speak the Word” ministry and all these things are promised to us. We have not followed cunningly devised fables when we made known unto you the Coming of the Lord. When we preached unto you that “the seventh seal was not yet opened, but it will be broken to the public at the right time,” that was not a fable. That is found in the message of the prophet. [The Seals pages 567 to 578.]
When Brother Branham preached to us that there will be a resurrection and the people of God will be upon the earth before the rapture, that was not a fable. No sir! I believe that. Then after that, the rapture is going to take place; that was not a fable. No! Those who missed the rapture will go through the tribulation to suffer the plagues of the Almighty; that was not a fable either. Friends, he talked about a thousand-year reign, and that is not a fable either. We believe those things. Now look at the picture that Brother Branham painted. The Seals were opened here in the end time, and these promises are promised to the end time Bride.
There are men that rose up and started talking about
“all is over.” Pay no attention to these heretics over there in
VISION OF SEEDSOWERS
Quote W.M.B.: 16 I looked and I seen an earth that was turning out in front of me, and I seen it was all disked up. There was a man dressed in white went around sowing wheat. And after he went around the curvature of the earth; around come a man, looked horrible; he was dressed in black, and he was throwing weed seeds all over it. The Seed of Discrepancy V-12 N-5 65-0118.
Judas followed Jesus right up to the supper table and he was right there amongst the apostles. These men followed the message and were tools of the devil. Of those heretics that are renowned around the world today, several of them followed Brother Branham, and they have the same testimony “that they have seen and heard the prophet, and heard the message.”
People around the world just think, “Well, since these men walked and talked with the prophet, then they ought to be speaking the truth!” They are simple in mind; some of them do not have the books; they do not have the tapes.
We have the prophet of God establishing that we will have the Token; we will have a revival; we will have a Latter Rain; we will have an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Seventh Seal will be revealed to the public. We will have a great ministry of “Speak the Word Power.”
Now I want to assure you here that all those promises that were declared by the prophet of God were not cunningly devised fables. They came from the Word of God, and these things were revealed from the Seals. These promises were laying in the message. Soon after the prophet of God died, all these heretics arose and started saying that “all is over, there is nothing more to come for the Bride; the next thing to take place is the rapture.”
VISION OF GOD’S PROMISES
But there was a man in the
Now if the prophet preached a revival and that was not a fable, then when Robert Lambert preached revival, he never preached a fable. If Brother Branham preached an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and Lambert preached Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, then that was not a fable. He did not make that up; no, he did not highlight “the Token” by himself. The prophet of God said,

This man was identified with that message called “The Token” in the end time here. So, this man preached exactly what Brother Branham preached, as far as the promises of God are concerned; and you are witnesses.
Some of you were young; now you are old. You watched this man’s life; you watched his conduct. You followed his preaching and you know that it never contradicted itself. You followed right up, and here you are today because
you caught the same vision.
Now, if that was not a fable in Brother Branham’s days, it was not a fable in the days of Lambert! And if it was not a fable in the days of Lambert, it is not a fable today! “There shall be a performance of those things” that we read in the message. I believe it with all of my heart! So we have not followed cunningly devised fables.
Young Fellows that were just born the other day, now you are men looking at me; I am here to tell you that I was young, and now I am old. The Promise was true back there, and it is still true today. So this is not something that your father and mother pulled you into. You are a privileged child, privileged young man, privileged young woman, to be born in a Christian home and amongst people that believe the Promise of the hour. You ought to be grateful. You ought to be thankful. You ought to respect your parents, love your parents, and give thanks to them for bringing you up as Christians. You have not followed cunningly devised fables at all.
When we say, “The Lord could heal you,” you have not followed a fable. It happened in the Bible. It happened under the ministry of Brother Branham in abundance; and it could happen today; it could happen tomorrow. It could happen now, if you believe in your hearts! That sickness could leave you while you are in your seat, right here now! Just believe it! Accept it! No matter what that sickness is, there are no incurable diseases with God!
I am here and I am not ashamed to be identified with the man called, Brother Lambert, better known as “Brother Bob.” Just like Brother Branham said, “Somebody will catch this vision and take it on,” Brother Lambert caught a vision of a revival for the Bride. He caught a vision of an Outpouring. He caught a vision that you must receive this Outpouring (Token) before the rapture comes, otherwise you will be left out.
Beloved, what we should be doing right now is to be cleansing our hearts, purifying our hearts, beating our chest every day. Not “sit down and wait for the Token,” Friend. You ought to be purging your heart and making sure that everything is right.
If you have worldly ambitions inside of you, you ought to give them up. If you have worldly ambitions for your children: you want to send them in the wrong environment, you want to send them in a university, you want to send them out there to catch a big education, I’m going to tell you that this world will pass away. Anybody that acts like that has not caught the vision that Brother Branham had, never caught the vision that Brother Lambert had, and had not caught the vision that we are trying to put over. Education is of the devil, and it takes you further away from God!
EDUCATION TAKES US FURTHER AWAY FROM GOD

Don't take an education, that gets us away from God. The more we know in education, the further we go from God. That's the biggest hindrance the Gospel's had, is educating. We only take that much to survive here upon the face of the earth and not to be illiterate people. I am not supporting ignorance! But when you will take your children who were grown up in the house of God (and you know what is going on in the Wesleyan college right here; you see the nasty lives that they live) and put them in a university, put them in some kind of a big college, send them abroad to study, send them overseas to make money, outside of the Word of God, you are a dead hypocrite! Only a hypocrite sends their children away from the Word of God and pushes a vision of education into them.
They were grown up under the Word of God. This is the best education in the world—to educate your children to the Promise of God. Educate your children to the things of God: how to live, how to keep their virginity and how to live pure, as Christians.
If you send your children in the wrong environment, be it college, be it work, be it the neighborhood, whatever and close your eyes to that, you are a dead hypocrite! You have not caught the vision that we preach so much about.
That is what the followers of Malachi 4 have done. They have sent their children away from the Word, and a lot of them are backsliding. Then they have to change the message to accommodate their children in the church. Those who go through college and come out whole are a blessed people. In other countries, some of them must go. Even to get a little job, you have to go through university. God have mercy upon them!
When you catch that vision that Brother Branham put
over, about the opening of the Seals and the mighty Angel standing upon land
and sea, it ought to shock you into desperation. It ought to make you see
and understand that the end of the world is upon us. But some people have
lost their vision of the great Promise of God and the soon Coming of the
Lord and the rapture. When you lose that vision, you are in
trouble. You must keep that vision. Though the vision
lingers, it shall surely come to pass. The vision had been lingering, but
the Lord lingers the vision to bring those from Africa, from
Your little children are growing up. Look at the lovely little girls; look at the lovely little boys. God has His mind upon those little children. We should be thankful that He is longsuffering. How are we going to feel to leave that pretty little child behind without a divine revelation? God is more concerned about you than you are concerned about yourself. He is more concerned about your children than you are concerned about them.
There are people that do not care anything about the soul salvation of their children. All that they are concerned with is some kind of a work they can get and some kind of an education. I say, you, yourself, are not saved! When a man or a woman will think like that, they are not yet saved or even born again. They do not have a vision of the hour that we are living in.

The end of the world is upon us and I will continue to say that! Even though the vision linger, the end of the world is upon us! Brother Branham preached it! Brother Lambert preached it! I am preaching it! Brother Kenny is preaching it! All of the ministers are preaching it! The end of the world is upon us!
That is a spirit that will be moving in the end time: <The Lord delayeth His Coming.> When they say, <The Lord delayeth His Coming,> they will start beating their fellow servants. That is the spirit. They become disrespectful, defiant, and rebellious. When you see somebody who knows what the Word stands for and they will come to you as a pastor and say, “Pastor, I know that the Word says that we have to wear loose clothing, but this is my style!” You are a dead unbeliever! “I know that the Word says that we should not sell alcohol, but I have to sell some alcohol!” You are a dead unbeliever! You do not believe the Word. You do not have a vision. “I know this and I know that, and I know what the Word says here, and I know what the Word says over there, but I have to do it.”
Did you ever hear Christians say, “I was in a tight spot and I just had to lie”? Your soul is not yet ready for that Token. You have to make those lies right. There is no excuse for breaking the Word of God—no excuse whatsoever.
Yes, Friend, I am not chastising, I am reminding you of the promises of God. I am telling you about what will happen if you catch a vision. If you catch a vision, this whole world passes away. The ambitions and all these kinds of things passes away. You just want to survive here. You do not want to make any more money than you could really use, because you know the corruption of that money.
I Timothy 6:10: <For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.>
You will not be fighting for a big chunk of this world
out here: a big house, a big this, and a big that. My Brothers and
Sisters, when you catch the vision that Brother Branham had for the

SALVATION IS MOST IMPORTANT

Why do you want to do that? You have no vision! You have no desire for salvation! You are just a church member!

When Brother Lambert came to the East here and declared the Word of God, he did not bring “a cunningly devised fable.” He brought unto you “a sure word of prophecy.” He caught the vision; he took it on.
When Brother George stood behind the pulpit and spoke to you young people, he never preached fables. When Brother McGahee stood behind the pulpit, that was not fables, Friend. They were not trying to make a church and a cult, and have everybody dressing in a certain way and living in a certain way. No, what we are preaching is the requirements of the message.
Although men have perverted the message worldwide, we are establishing the requirements of the message. Women must dress modestly: their dresses must be loose and not hugging their bodies; they should not be walking in high-heeled shoes. People should not be watching television. These are the requirements of the message. This is not a fable.
Now when somebody devises a fable, they do it in order to make church members. Nimrod devised his religion in order to bring a one-world religion and a one-world church. Anybody who goes out with such fables as “the seven thunders are revealed,” they “could watch television,” and “the women could wear sack dresses as long as it is long enough to cover their knees,” is telling lies. It is a fable.
Now if you had followed a fable today, we would be soliciting your money. Brother Lambert would have been soliciting your money. Brother Branham would have solicited your money. But to show that this is not a fable, we do not solicit your money. You only fulfill the Scripture where it is concerned about your tithes and offerings, and that is all. I do not know who is, and who is not a thief in here; and I do not think Brother Kenny knows either. If you do not pay your tithes, you are a thief.
Malachi 3:8: <Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.>
We have no listing to show that “this fellow did not pay his tithes”; so thieves could prosper very well in a congregation like this and wherever the revelation is preached. We leave that to a man’s conscience.
Brother Lambert was never guilty of soliciting your money. Did Brother Lambert ever solicit your money here? I say, “No!” [Congregation says, “Amen!”] Brother Lambert never sought popularity. He never went after women. Brother Lambert never fell in adultery. He was a true preacher of God and a preacher of righteousness.
These are not fables, Young Fellows. You were
not there; we are telling you (if you cannot say, “Amen,” to such things).
We are witnesses from the beginning that Brother Lambert was not after money,
nor popularity, nor women. We are old enough; we were back there.

I will put one thing here now. When the scribe put together the life story of the man called Robert Lee Lambert, he did not cunningly devise a fable. Our Brother Renner, who penned this story, did not cunningly devise a fable. No, sir. He documented the life and some of the teachings of this man and his martyrdom. “The First Martyr for the message of Malachi 4:5-6: The Story of Robert Lee Lambert,” is not a cunningly devised fable. It is the truth of the man’s life and ministry. I believe it. We published it in English; and it is going to be published in the Hindi language very soon. We start telling them, “You lied here; you lied there; you misrepresented the Promise here.” If you misrepresent the Promise, then you are a fanatic; you are a heretic, because you come against the Promise of God.

This teaching is a heresy, the prophet said this.” They say, “No more latter rain.” You bring the quotation to show that the prophet of God said contrary to that. “There is no more Power coming in a third pull ministry.” You take the promises of God and match it against all these heresies. That is what EODH is. It is a documentation of the same promises of God that Brother
Branham upheld. By those promises, we examine all heresies.
